NOTE:  Due to concerns over safety and security of our BIKING participants and volunteers during this event, the Town of Weymouth and the Weymouth Rotary Family FUNraiser Committee have decided that the 25 mile route portion of this event will be canceled.  THIS DOES NOT EFFECT THE WALK OR RUN OR THE 10 MILE BIKE, which will continue as scheduled.  Please check back here for further updates.

This will be a Halloween theme.  Please dress/decorate in your favorite costume.

Philosophy

Completion, rather than competition, is the focus of the Weymouth Family FUNday/FUNraiser.  Each participant is encouraged to set and meet his or her own personal goal.  Timing devises will no be used and completion times will not be tabulated.

Start times for each event are staggered to allow each event to complete the course in a relatively same timeframe.  Here are the specifics for THE BIKE event:

Things to know...

  • A waiver must be signed before anyone participates
  • No refunds on registration fees
  • Check in will be held on day of event
  • Each participant will pick up their event packet during check in.
  • Participant bibs must be worn at all times while on the event course.  Safety pins will be provided.
  • No portable music devises will be allowed on the course during the event.
  • There will be Police and Volunteers along the courses of this event to help facilitate a successful day.  There will also be traffic allowed, at times, throughout the course.  Please pay attention to the Police or Volunteers directions as they assist in traffic control.
  • Please refer to each event specific pages for particular pertinent information re: Safety, Map/Routes, Medical Assistance, Support and Gear (bicycles), etc.
  • Helmets must be worn at all times while on this event
